To effectively communicate, we must realize that we are all different in the way we perceive the world and use this understanding as a guide to our communication with others.

In a society that is governed by money and divided by race, the allocation of healthcare is disparagingly unequal in the United States. Through literature and research, I explore the manifestations of health equality in different parts of the country over time.

Tour Guide Recruitment Video

I served as the Coordination Chair. As part of the 2018/2019 Executive Board, all members collaborated to create a fun and inviting video to motivate students to apply for the following year to be tour guides. Vanderbilt manages 180 guides to showcase the school to over 100,000 visitors a year.

As a Student Admissions Assistant, as well as a Tour Guide, I interacted with over 100,000 guests every year. These interactions were in person, over the phone, through webinars, and from blogs. Some of the posts led to a call or email with a prospective student.

The Water Cycle

Science is a fascinating aspect of our daily lives that creates unique observations to learn from. For a child, any lesson can become a fun activity. For a parent, the ride to school is an excellent opportunity to tune into a kid-friendly educational podcast on the Water Cycle.

As part of a Science Communication Seminar, I created a mini-podcast that would explore popular topics that a child could listen to.
